~~~~~~~
Notes: the newspaper photocopy didn't show date or the newspaper name, was provided to me from Joen De Muth (daughter of Esther O'Brien who married Joe DeMuth. She is referenced as 溺rs. Joe DeMuth above). Joen obtained copy from Dan O'Brien (son of Daniel O'Brien). Both Esther & Daniel were children of Etta痴.
Note: Prairie du Chien is in Wisconsin, just across the Mississippi river from McGregor, Iowa. We know Etta O達rien, per her gravestone in Calvary Cemetery Prairie du Chien, WI died in 1938, so based on obituary above referencing services held Thursday November 3rd, and that she had died on Monday of that week, her date of death would be October 31, 1938. Her husband John James O達rien died October 3, 1945 and shares the same grave headstone with Etta showing years of birth & death.
If you are related to any relatives of Etta O達rien, mentioned in this obituary, please contact: Kathy O達rien, daughter of Jack (John E.) O達rien, the grandson referenced as serving mass in last paragraph.
