Charles Austin

Charles (Chuck/Charlie) Austin, 73, of Luana and formerly of Milford died Monday, June 11, 2007 at Gundersen-Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, WI. Family and friends gathered for a memorial service at the Charles and Irene Austin home in Luana Friday, June 15, with Rev. Richard Iles officiating.

Charles was born September 12, 1933. He owned Chuck's Auto Parts in Milford and worked at NAPA Auto Parts in Prairie du Chien, WI.

Survivors include his wife, Irene of Luana; his children, Stan (Jean) Austin of Wheaton, IL, Barbara Clark of Prescott, AZ, Matt (Kim) Austin of Charlotte, NC, and Paula (Rob) Beaton of Hawaii; stepchildren Michelle (David) Mercer of Arnolds Park, Griffin Champine of Ocheyedan and Justin (Keri) Champine of Milford; six grandchildren, Carrie, Nick, Mathias and Abby Austin, Lindsay Dunaev and Kevin Beaton; and a brother, Glenn (Phyllis) Austin of Rockwell City.
