Larry Kurtenbach

Larry Orville Kurtenbach, 66, entered eternal rest Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at his home. Funeral Mass was held Saturday, March 25, at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church, La Joya, Texas, and Saturday, April 1, at St. Mary's Church, Dorchester, Iowa, at 11 a.m.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vince and Magdalene Kurtenbach.

Survivors include his loving wife, Jeanette Kurtenbach; three sons, Joel (Harriet) Kurtenbach of Wyoming, Iowa, Lee (Tarra) Kurtenbach of Mechanicsville, Iowa, and Eric (Donna) Kurtenbach of Wyoming; three daughters, Nancy (Gary) Messner of Caledonia, Minn., Lora (Roger) Knott of McGregor, Iowa, and Peggy (Pat) Donohoe of Tipton, Iowa; as well as 12 grandchildren, Ashley, Cory, David, Amanda, Cassy, Parker, Aaron, Brandon, Brody, Preston, Braxton, and Payton. He is also survived by his brother, Don (Sharalee) Kurtenbach of Lawler, Iowa.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for Larry's children of Mexico.
