Maginnis, Simeon died 1868

MAGINNIS, MCGINNIS, MORRILL

DIED - At McGregor, Simeon Maginnis, son of Joshua F. and Margaret J. MaGinnis, Sunday Nov. 22d, 1868, aged 16 years, 1 month and 15 days, of disease of the lungs.

The deceased was very much esteemed. His decline in health was noticed sorrowfully by his many friends, and al efforts were made to restore him to health, but the Destroyer could not be stayed by sympathy or medical attention. We condole with the parents.

Note: Joshua McGinnis & Margaret Jane Morrill marriage 11/29/1851, Columbia, WI (Wisconsin marriage index, Ancestry.com) The couple died in Nebraska. Simeon is possibly buried in Pleasant Grove, McGregor.
