DIED - In Lincoln Township, Black Hawk county, Iowa, of sunstroke, July 14th, Louis Luthe, late of McGregor.

The deceased was 32 years of age; his widow and child are in Germany. He came to the U.S. in November last to make a home and send for his family.

He worked for E.F. Badde & Sons of this city until the harvest farther south was ready, and desiring to earn more in the field than could be paid in ordinary business, he lost his life by exposure to the intense heat.

He was brother of our Mr. H. Luthe, the baker, and a very worthy man.

Note: he may be buried in Pleasant Grove, where his brother Henry is buried. Confirmation is needed.
