On last Sabbath two young men, sons of Franz Wolter and John Walke, of Guttenberg, went out hunting for squirrels, and while out in the woods, the gun of young Wolter was accidently discharged, the whole charge taking effect in the left arm and side of young Walke, making a dangerous and painful wound.
Dr. Duffin was immediately notified, and was shortly on the ground and dressed the wound, making the sufferer as easy as possible. The doctor says the wound is in a very dangerous locality, and may possibly result fatally.
Both boys are about 18 years of age, were great friends, and young Wolter is very much affected over the affair.
