Funeral services for Mrs. Willis Johanningmeier, 34, were held Tuesday, May 08, at 1:45 from the Schultz funeral chapel and at 2 o'clock at St. Paul's Lutheran church. The Rev. R. C. Schlueter officiated. Burial was in the Lutheran cemetery.

Mrs. Johanningmeier died Friday, May 04, at Oakland Manor, New York, where she had been a patient for several weeks.

The former Gertrude Hertrampf, was born March 17, 1922, near Monona. She attended the rural schools and was married July 03, 1940, to Willis Johanningmeier by the Rev. Siefkes at Monona. They have lived on farms near here since that time.

Survivors are her husband, three daughters, Sharon, JoAnn, and Judith; four sons, Duane, Dean, William, and Robert, all at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Hertrampf; three sisters, Mrs. John (Marcella) Ewing, Darlene and Patricia Hertrampf of Waterville, four brothers, Lester of McGregor, Raymond and Donald of Monona, and Leland of Waterville, and her grandfather, William Hertrampf of Monona.

Pallbearers were: Robert Drahn, Matt Freilinger, Ted Vorwald, Ted Baade, Elmer Ihde, Loren Dettman, Paul Strelow and Merlin Flesner.
