MONONA: Services for Robert Waskow, 72, were held Thursday, April 12, from the Schultz funeral chapel at 1:45 and at 2 o'clock at St. Paul's Lutheran church. The Rev. R. C. Schluter officiated. Burial was in the Lutheran cemetery.

Mr. Waskow, the son of Herman and Caroline Waskow, was born March 03, 1884, at Marquette, Iowa, and died April 08, at the Postville hospital. He had been in failing health for the past year.

He was married to Catherine Marie Garms on Feb. 02, 1910, and engaged in farming near here for several years. He moved into town about 10 years ago.

He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church for over 50 years and was a director of the Farmers Mutual Insurance company of Garnavillo.

Preceding him in death was his wife in 1944; his parents; one brother, Ed, and one sister, Mrs. Julius Collignon.

Survivors include one son, Harvey, of Cedar Rapids; one daughter, Evelyn Waskow, of Monona; one sister, Mrs. Henry Taacke, of Monona, and two grandchildren.
