GUTTENBERG: Services for William Rodenberg, who died Friday, Dec. 28, at his home here, were held Monday afternoon, Dec. 31, from the Tuecke funeral home with the Rev. E. W. Kraemer officiating. Burial was in the city cemetery.

Mr. Rodenberg was born Aug. 15, 1868, the son of William Rodenberg Sr. and Anna Kaiser Rodenberg, on a farm in Jefferson township.

On May 01, 1894, he was married to Marie Freitag at St. John's Lutheran church in this city.

He leaves to mourn three daughters and one son, Edward, Mrs. H. Kahle, Mrs. F. Schaal and Mrs. Albert Backhaus, all of Guttenberg; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, John of Guttenberg; and three sisters, Mrs. Caroline Friedlein of Guttenberg, Mrs. Elizabeth Wells, and Mrs. Katherine Swan, both of California.

Pallbearers were Morris Rodenberg, LeVerel Rodenberg, Edwin Rodenberg, Bernell Kahle, Harlen Backhaus and LaVern Kahle.
