DIED - At McGregor, on Friday, Sept 4th, of Diptheria, Hugh, aged 2 years, son of Hugh and Ellen Kelly.

~Weekly North Iowa Times, Wednesday, September 9, 1863; pg 2

Note: alternate surname spelling is KELLEY. Burial may be in St. Mary's Catholic cemetery, McGregor, where several other Kelley's are interred.
