DIED - At Monona, on Wednesday, 26th ult., at 7 P.M. of a long dropleal illness, Elizabeth, wife of Christian France, formerly of La Porte Co., Ind.
The deceased was born Nov. 9th, 1805, and consequently was in her fifty-eight year. We knew her well, and can truly say that she never had an acquaintance but who was her friend; an estimable lady in every walk of life.
The mother of a large family, each member of which she raised to respectability, a kind wife and a good neighbor it would seem that the qualifications of all the good were complete in her.
To the afflicted husband, and the loving children and grand-children left by our decased friend, we tender the condolence of a sympathizing heart. She is but little in advance of those who now mourn for her.
