DIED: At McGregor, on Wednesday, Aug 18th, of dysentery after an illness of two weeks, Henry Alfred, son of E.S. and Adeline W. Fitch, aged 10 years and 4 months.

The youth whose early disease is here chronicled was a bright, manly little fellow, the favorite of his acquaintances and the idol of his parents.

We can scarcely content ourselves with the ways of Providence under such afflictions, but we must all remember that little Henry has only experienced the reality of that future a few days or years in advance of us. All that is mortal must follow in the same path, and it is well with us if we hope to reach the home above which youth and innocence are assured of.
