DIED, at Dallas City, Ill., August 29th, 1858, John Northrop, aged 74 years.

He was buried by the Masonic Order, of which he had been a worthy member for many years.

Mr. Northrop was formerly a citizen of this county, and during his residence here of two or three years was universally esteemed for his many virtues.
