Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 24 Jan. 1918. Monona column.
Mr. and Mrs. Pete Johnson, of Mason City, Iowa, brought to Monona, Wednesday, for burial their oldest child, Raymond Francis, aged 2 years and 25 days, who died in Mason City at 2 o'clock Monday. The service at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Marks at 2 o'clock was followed by the service at the Lutheran church at 2:30, Rev. Otto Wappler in charge. Interment in Mason City* cemetery.
(*Note: He has a gravestone in the Monona City cemetery)
