On June 17th occurred the death of Mrs. Caroline Marie Horstman at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Aug Fritz. She was born in Germany on April 15th, 1817, being at the time of her death 92 years, 2 months and 2 days old. She left to mourn her loss three daughters and two sons, besides a good many grand and great-grandchildren. The funeral was held at the Lutheran church of which denomination she was a member, on Saturday, June 19th, Rev. F. Linnenbuerger officiating. May she rest in peace.
