Anna Hovland

At the residence of her granddaughter, Mrs. A. Larson, in Boardman twp., Tuesday, Oct. 3d, 1899, occurred the death of Anna Hovland, in the 100th year of her age. If she had lived until May 5th next she would have reached the century mark. Deceased was born May 5th, 1800, at Lillahamer, Norway. She came to America in 1881, after the death of her husband, coming to this county in 1888. She leaves two sons. The funeral was held Wednesday, Rev. Tanner officiating, and her remains laid to rest in the Norway cemetery in Wagner.
