Elkader Register, Thur., 15 Nov. 1900. McGregor column.

The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Day was buried Wednesday last, dying at the age of 11 months of pneumonia.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Day have the sympathy of the community in the loss of their little son, Charles Minney, whose life on earth closed on Sunday morning, Nov. 4, 1900.

This only child had brightened their lives for fourteen months. He was dear to many relatives and friends of his parents.

May from this home [illegible]
But still we make one household dear;
One Lord is still our head."
