Dennis Mitchell, one of the pioneer settlers of this vicinity, died at his home on Thanksgiving Day at 4:30 p.m. Mr. Mitchell had been suffering a great deal in the past year with dropsy and for the past month was confined to his bed. The funeral was held Saturday at the Catholic church and was largely attended. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife and one daughter, Mary. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire community.
