Arvid “Bud” Voshell, age 77, of Guttenberg, IA, died Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center Hospice of North Iowa in Mason City, IA.

He was born on May 10, 1939 in New Hampton, the son of Luther and Laura (Ladwig) Voshell.

Bud was known to be a jack of all trades. He spent time working on the family farm, did carpentry work, drove garbage truck, school bus, and eventually retired from many years driving semi for Yellow Freight.

On December 31, 1972, Bud was married to Pamela Cole.

Bud enjoyed spending time working in his garden, hunting, fishing, playing cards, traveling and even did some weekend security work at Lakeside Ballroom.

Bud is survived by his wife Pamela; children, Jada (Todd) Mitchell, Ronald (Tracy) Battin, Lori (Kevin) Prichard, Jane (Pete) Voshell & Wanda Martelle; grandchildren, Emily Battin, Hunter & Alexis Harbaugh, Nicole (Dustin) Helsricks, James (Abby) Caston, Christopher (Brittany) Caston, Ryanne Pritchard, Sidney Pritchard, Sawyer Pritchard & Stacey (Anson) Niesman several great grandchildren; three sisters, Esther Saegert, Geneva Patrie & Patricia Vorwald and many other relatives and friends.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Brenda Voshell; four siblings, Marvel Edsill, Arlene Kunkle, Ferne (Carol) Petri & Ivan Voshell.
