Garber: Mr. William Sanford Harbaugh, 72, died at his home in Earlville at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday, after a serious illness of two weeks' duration. Mr. Harbaugh was born in Clayton county, Iowa, March 27, 1860, and was married to Miss Della Jane Long, who died nineteen years ago near Brookins, S. Dak. Four years later he was married to Mrs. Matilda Hannaman of this vicinity. Mr. and Mrs. Harbaugh had made their home in Earlville for the past nine years. There were ten children born to the first union, five of whom preceded their father in death. Besides his widow and five children he is survived by three step-children, also a number of grandchildren. Funeral services held in St. John's Evangelical church at Garber, Friday afternoon. The Rev. Lamont C. Smith, pastor of the Earlville Methodist church officiated. Burial took place at Brookins, S. Dak., on Saturday beside the remains of his wife.
