Clayton County Register, Thur., 3 Mar. 1932. St. Olaf column.

Mrs. Julius Peterson was born March 7, 1859 and died Feb. 26, 1932 at the age of 72 years, 11 months, at her home near Elkader. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Ralph Coons, and Mrs. Harry Short, and one son, Perry Peterson, all living near Elkader; two sisters, Mrs. Hans Hanson of Elkader, and Miss Alice Ulberg of St. Olaf, and one brother, Gilbert Ulberg of St. Olaf. A daughter, Mary, died a number of years ago.

Funeral services were held at the Norway church Sunday, Feb. 28. Rev. S. J. Strandjord officiated. Interment was made in the Norway cemetery.

(Note: The WPA records and the IGPP identify her as Tillie Peterson.)
