Clayton County Register, Wed., 11 Dec. 1935.

Guttenberg: Mrs. Christian Hildebrandt (nee Katherine Helgerman), life-long resident of Clayton county, passed away at her home near Littleport Saturday, according to word received in Guttenberg by Earl Meder, nephew of the deceased. She was 82 years old. Her death is deeply mourned by her husband; one son, Charles Hildebrandt, of near Littleport; two daughters, Mrs. Peter Wolfe, of Strawberry Point, and Mrs. William Meese, of Littleport; several grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Meder of Elkader, and Mrs. J. J. Brich of Littleport; one brother, Ed Helgerman, of Rock Island, Ill., and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at the Christian Hildebrandt home near Littleport Monday afternoon.
