Mrs. Amelia Dale was born on May 19, 1886, in Clayton county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Gunderson.
On June 27, 1921, she was united in marriage to Russell C. Dale of Chicago, Ill., where they made their home. Her husband preceded her in death on Sept. 27, 1933.
Besides her mother and father she leaves to mourn her passing two sisters, Mrs. Julia Lindelien, Alexandria, Minn., and Mrs. Luella Browne, Minneapolis, Minn. One sister, Randena Gunderson, died on Jan. 2_th, 1931.
She was employed by Carson, Pirie, Scott & Co., in Chicago but was on vacation to visit friends in California when she was taken sick and died Jan. 4, 1935, at Mt. Zion hospital, San Francisco.
Funeral services were conducted at Highland Lutheran church by the Rev. G. Gunsten, Tuesday, Jan. 8, 1935. Adolph Benson sang "Jesus Lover of My Soul" and "Lead Kindly Light." Interment was in Highland church cemetery.
The pallbearers, who were all cousins, were: Philmen, Glenn, Lawrence and Maurice Larson and Louis and Clifton West.
