Miss Heman Hill died suddenly on the 23rd inst. She got up apparently well, prepared breakfast, and ate heartily, after which she went out to milk the cows, and not returning, search was made for her, and she was found dead near one of the cows. Heart disease is supposed to have been the cause. She had many friends who will sincerely mourn her death.

The funeral of Mrs. Heman Hill, of Wood Center, occurred at this place on Thursday, the remains being deposited in the East Side cemetery.
