Willis W. Jones died here Dec. 11th at three a.m., after a painful illness of two months duration, of abscess. He was born of Quaker parents in the state of Indiana sixty-four years ago. He was twice married, being last married to Elizabeth Shapels Nov. 18th, 1893 in Indiana, Lake county. His former home was in Chicago and he was known as a national lecturer and organizer of money and prices, traveling over most of the states of the union. His life was devoted to educating young men and for fifteen years he was a professor of Alma college, Ill. During his illness he greatly yearned to see his brother, but all efforts to find him were futile as his present residence is unknown. He was buried from the M.E. church Sunday afternoon. His many friends will mourn his departure.
