Farmersburg- Elmer L. Shady, 80, died Monday morning, Nov. 5, 2001, in Good Samaritan Home, Postville, after a long illness. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, St. John Lutheran Church, by Pastor Bruce Hanson. Burial: Farmersburg-Wagner Cemetery, with military rites. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Schultz's Funeral Home, Monona.

Survivors include his wife, Betty; three daughters, Anna Moody of Prairie du Chien, Wis., Ethel Lenth of Farmersburg and Kathryn Trappe of Monona; and a brother, Carlyle of Maquoketa.
