Garnavillo-- Alvina A. Berns, 84, died Sunday at Elk Grove Village, Ill., where she was living with her daughter.

Survivors include a son Al of Manchester, the daughter, Gwenneth Maass; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Tuecke-Allyn's, where a rosary will be said at 7 tonight. Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made.
