Edgewood, Ia. - Burial services, in charge of Avalon Lodge No. 606, A.F. & A.M., were held at the Edgewood Cemetery for Andrew J. Peters, 70, who died March 14 at his home in Monrovia, Calif. following a several months illness.

Mr. Peters was a native of Clayton county and he farmed just north of Edgewood for many years. When he retired to Edgewood, he entered the hardware and implement business and 15 years ago he and his wife moved to California.

His wife preceded him in death several years ago.

Surviving are one son, Charles of Edgewood; one grandson; one brother, Will of Burt; and one sister, Mrs. Eva Eaton in Idaho.
