Cora N. Beeh

Private family funeral services were held for Cora Nita Beeh, 87, of Strawberry Point, Iowa, who died at her home on Sunday, October 28, 2012. Burial was at Mt. Harmony Cemetery, rural Garber, Iowa.

Cora Nita Beeh was born on February 20, 1925, in Strawberry Point. Cora was raised and lived with her mother, Opal (Coffin) Schaffer and step-father, Harm Schaffer. She was a graduate of Strawberry Point High School.

Cora was united in marriage to Phillip Beeh on February 7, 1946, at Strawberry Point. Seven children were blessed to this union. Together they farmed near Elkport until they retired to Strawberrry Point in 1987.

Survivors include her 7 children, John (Georgia) Beeh of Weippe, Idaho, Carol Beeh of Edgewood, Jacob (Connie) Beeh of Elkader, Chris (Connie) Beeh of Lamont, Alonzo (Gwen) Beeh of Greeley, Barry Beeh of Edgewood, and Micah Beeh of Strawberry Point; 18 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Cora was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip in 1996, and her parents.
