Mrs. Leona Hultgren

Mrs. Leona Hultgren of Evanston, Illinois, passed away July 17th, in her sleep. She was living with her son, Willis Hultgren, 2200 McDaniell St. at the time of her death.

Funeral services were held in Immanuel Lutheran Church, Evanston, where she had been a member for over 30 years. Rev. Noah Inbody, officiated at the service, with internment in Memorial Park, Skokie, Illinois.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ralph J. Ahrendt (Darlene) of Evanston, a son, Willis E Hultgren of Evanston, three grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin B. Hultgren, 10 years ago.

Mrs. Hultgren was an active member of Immanuel Church, Women’s Guild and Swedish Relief Sewing Circle.

(Note: Leona was born in McGregor to George and Amelia Leibrand on 8/27/1893. She married Edwin Hultgren on 11/30/1916 in McGregor. Death was ca 1972, see also Edwin Hultgren's obituary)
