Elkader - Mary Hoover, 93, a resident of this area her entire life, died Thursday in a Dubuque hospital. She had been hospitalized since she suffered a broken hip in a fall 3 months ago.

Services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic church. Rosaries will be recited Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Witt funeral home. The afternoon Rosary will be by the Ladies Guild.

Mrs. Hoover is survived by a son, Arthur, of Elkader, and a brother, Father Luke Donlon, the last of the 11 children of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Donlon. He is hospitalized in Dubuque. Mrs. Hoover's husband, Michael, died in 1941.
