Clyde Hinman
Clyde Hinman, 88, died February 17 at Community Memorial Hospital, Postville, Iowa.
Services were conducted February 19, at Luana United Methodist Church, with burial in Luana Cemetery. The Rev. Roger Davis officiated.
He was born the son of Charles and Lillie (Ridenour) Hinman on Oct. 31, 1888 at rural Luana.
On June 19, 1912 he was united in marriage to Carrie Mason in LaCrosse, Wis. To this union four children were born.
Mr. Hinman was a rural mail carrier at Luana for 42 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, 3 brothers and 2 grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Carrie, four daughters: Mrs. Arne (Helen) Neverman, Mrs. Adrian (Norma) Riveland, Mrs. Everett (Lois) Carnes, Mrs. Robert (Shirley) Collins, 10 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
