Mr. and Mrs. Leo J. DeSotel of Garnavillo announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lois Dorothy, to Maurice F. Burr, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Burr of Clayton.

Miss DeSotel is employed at the Mareen Beauty Shop in Garnavillo. Her fiancé is attending the State University of Iowa.

The wedding will take place June 16, 1959, in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at Garnavillo.
