How & When Fanny Fern Cemetery got its Name

Hoping someone could tell me when and why the former Douglas Center Cemetery's name was changed to Fanny Fern Cemetery. I know it says established 1912 on the gate but according to Book Z, page 544, it states the Douglas Center Cemetery was plotted and subdivided in 1894.
Would appreciated any answer anyone can furnish.
