Mr. Herrig died Saturday, July 1, 1972 at the Spencer Hospital. He was born September 24, 1906 at Wall Lake to William and Minnie Voss Herrig

He was married to Iris Summerbell.

Mr. Herrig was a retired farmer.

Surviving are his widow, Iris, two sons, Ed Herrig of Spencer and Robert Herrig of Osseo, Minnesota, two daughters, Mrs Stanley (Sally) Muilenberg and Mrs. William (Peggy) Maurer, both of Spencer; eight grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Ella McCleary of Spencer.

The dates come from the court house that I added to the obit. I didn't look to see if they were married in Clay Co.
