Andersen or Anderson

ANDERSEN, ANDERSON AND SKJODT

I am trying to locate information and Jim ANDERSEN SKJODT who may have lived in Clay Co. He immigrated from Denmark and had a farm in the area. I believe he changed his last name to Andersen or Anderson. My grandfather was Alfren ANDERSON. His half brother is the person mentioned above. Jim Andersen Skjodt brought several of his younger half brothers and a sister to the USA in about 1893. He raised these brothers and sister as his own in Iowa. Jim died in 1942 and is buried in Spencer, IA. any information on Jim would be helpful.
