Bertha Namur Fisk, daughter of the late Emma and Henry Namur was born October 24, 1881 at Sigourney, Keokuk County, Iowa.
She died April 5th at the Spencer Municipal Hospital at the age of 73 ears, three months and eleven days

Mrs. Fisk resided in Clay County for 71 years where she grew to womanhood and recveived her education

She was united in marriage on January 27, 1904 to Wilbert A. Fisk. To this union were born two children who survive their mother

She was a good neighbor and shared her spirit of neighborliness with the last, the least and the best with all. Those who knew her best did not find it hard to think of her as kind and good. She was a faithful and loyal member of Grace Methodist Church and the Woman's Society

She leaves to mourn her passing her devoted husband, daughter, Mrs. Margaret Mills of Spencer and son, Otto A. Fisk of Sioux City. Three grandsons, Larry and Timmy Mills and Alan Fisk; one sister, Mrs. H.P. Hendrickson of Long Beach, California and two brothers, Henry of Fostoria and Carl Namur of Fairmont, Minnesota, other relatives and many friends and neighbors
