Harry Erastus Glover was born December 27, 1872 to Henry and Margaret Glover at Manchester, Iowa.
He was married November 5, 1902 to Lena Verharen in Spencer and to this union was born one daughter, Charlotte, who with his wife survive
Mr. Glover received his schooling, graduating from Spencer High School. He attended the University of Minnesota receiving his degree in law from the University in 1894. Coming to Spencer, Mr. Glover practiced law in what hs been the location of the Clay County Mutual Ins. Ass'n building at 13 West Fourth Street
He was associaed with the Floete Lumber Company in Spencer for 50 years and had also been associated with the Spencer Savings and Loan Company being President of the company for 25 years. He was a member of First Congregational Church, Masonic Loadge, Knights of Pythias and was first secretary of the Chamber of Commerce.
Funeral services were held April 11 at the Glover home, 402 West Fourth Street, with Rev. Kenneth Martin officiating.
Interment was in Riverside Cemetery
Pallbearers were Harold Nelson, Claude Baldwin, Gould Morgan, George Haygarth, Kenneth Glattly, James Walsh and L.A. Witter
