Corrine Dorman, 104, of Ottawa, formerly of Spencer, Iowa, died Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Pleasant View in Ottawa.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Ottawa with Rev. Polly Klimson, pastor officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 26, in Riverside Cemetery in Spencer, Iowa. Arrangements are through Mueller Funeral Home.

Corrine was born August 11, 1905 in Sioux Rapids, Iowa to Albert Roy and Isabelle (Crisman) Johnson. She graduated from Spencer High School in 1923. Following graduation she taught in the Meadow Township #7 School in Clay County. She married Paul Dorman on April 26, 1925 at Grace United Methodist Church in Spencer, Iowa. She worked for a number of years in a doctors office. She was a long time member of Grace United Methodist where she was active in United Methodist Women, Builders Guild and taught Sunday school for many years.

She is survived by her daughter Joanne (LuVerne) McCallister of Ottawa, two sons, Darrell (Barbara) of Montgomery, IL and Lowell (Patricia) of Rock Island, IL; 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on February 14, 1962, one brother, Frank Johnson and one sister, Helen Wigram.
