Esther June Cuttell, 91 of Spencer and formerly of Everly passed away Monday, September 15, 2008 at PARC Hall in Emmetsburg

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 18, 2008. at United Methodist Church in Everly. The Rev. Annette K. Ruhs Kruse will officiate the 10:30 a.m. service

Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer

Casket bearers are Cory Coakley, Brent Cuttell, Greg Cuttell, Martin Bergstrom, Jeff Robinson and Fred Ackerman

Esther June Cuttell, the daughter of August and Ada (Fulton) Groth was born June 30, 1917, in Spencer. Her childhood years were spent in Spencer, where she received her education, graduating from Spencer High School. She later attended and graduated with a teaching degree from Morningside College in Sioux City. June taught school for one year in Hospers

June married Robert M. Cuttell on August 21, 1938 in Spencer. Following their marriage, they started farming in 1940 near Royal. They moved to Everly in 1971, where her husband retired from farming and continued as owner of the Everly State Bank. June had made Spencer her home for the last three years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Everly, where she was a member of the UMW

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Robert on April 3, 2002; a grandson, Scott Cuttell and an infant granddaughter, Paula Coakley

Left to cherish her memory are her children and their spouses; Gary and Barb Cuttell of Spencer; Jim and Char Cuttell of George, JoAnn and Jim Coakley of Emmetsburg and Jack and Mary Jo Cuttell of Peoria, Arizona; 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends
