Maggie Marie Blair, 92 of Spencer passed away Sunday, May 2, 2004 at the Spencer Hospital.

Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, May 5 at Warner Chapel in Spencer. Rev. Ray Shephard officiates the 10:30 a.m. service

Burial is in Riverside Cemetery in Spencer

Casket bearers are Frank Scott, Glen Roghair, Bob Rorah, Leonard Rust, Mike Kaschmitter and Bob Krile

Maggie Marie Blair, the daughter of Wilson and Phoebe (Chalfant) Morris was born July 27, 1911 in Greenville. Her childhood years were spent in Gillett Grove where she received her education

Maggie married John Eugene Blair on December 11, 1926 in Storm Lake. Following their marriage they moved to Spencer where she worked as a housekeeper for Spencer Hospital for 31 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Spencer

Mrs. Blair was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John in February of 1975; one son, Arlo Blair; five half sisters and three half brothers

Maggie is survived by three sons and their wives; John E. and Marlyn Blair of Spencer; Norman and Beatrice Blair of Guadalupe, California, Gary and Lorraine Blair of Spencer; one daughter in law, Beverly Blair of California; 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; other relatives and friends
