Services for Mrs. Helen Meyerdirk, 55 of Everly will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Everly. The Rev. Mark Sullivan will officiate
Burial will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery at Everly.
Mrs. Meyerdirk died Wednesday at the Hartley Hospital
Mrs. Meyerdirk was born March 6, 1922 at Cherokee, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Freeman. she graduated from Lake Park High School in 1940.
She married Stanley Meyerdirk on October 15, 1942 at Dakota City, Nebraska. they lived in Everly for the past 21 years and she was employed as a bookkeeper for 20 years.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church and its women society
Survivors include her widower, Stanley; one daughter, Mrs. Margo Carrier of Humboldt; two sons, Terry of Larrabee and Jim of Royal; one sister, Mrs. Alta Ahrenstorff of Okoboji; one brother, Guy of Spokane, Washington; seven grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Willard Freeman
The Baumgarten Funeral Home of Hartley is in charge of arrangements
