at the family home near Royal and had not seemed much worse than other members of her family, who had been suffering from the same disease. Her death is particularly sad as it leaves motherless a family of four children, the eldest being but about nine years of age and the youngest a babe of four months.
Mrs. Huberg, nee Mary Laura Hjelm, was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jens Hjelm, and was born March 24, 1880, at Cedar Falls, Iowa. At the time of her death she was thirty-three years, ten months and thirteen days of age.
She came with her parents to Clay county when but a child and grew to womanhood In the Royal neighborhood.
Here she met and married Mr. Huberg and they made their home on a farm since their marriage, enjoying the brightest prospects.
The funeral services were held from the home on Monday at 10 o'clock and at the Danish Lutheran church at Royal at 10 o'clock.
Interment was made in the Willow Creek cemetery. The services were conducted by the pastor of he Danish Lutheran church of Royal.
