Timothy Jo McCall, 40, Dickens, died Thursday at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Spirit Lake
Memorial services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Lone tree Cemetery at Everly
The Baumgarten Funeral Home in Spencer is in charge of arrangements
The son of Ted and Marcella (Koenck) McCall, he was born at Hartley on April 28, 1949. He grew up in Everly and attended Everly Schools
He served in the United States Army and had most recently lived at Iowa City. before moving to Dickens in 1989. He was employed at Super America in Spencer since July
He entered the service on August 29, 1966 at Des Moines and reached the rank of SP5 in the United States Army on November 25, 1968. He served overseas in Vietnam for one year, eleven months and six days with the 59th Artillery HHB Third Battalion. He received his honorable discharge July 8, 1969 at Fort Sheridan, Illinois
Mr. McCall was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed golf and bowling
He preceded in death by his mother.
Mr. McCall is survived by his brother, Terry McCall of Iowa City; his father, Ted McCall of Hollywood, California; and his cousin Emy Simington of Dickens
