Memorial service for Connie Renea Kunzmann, 24 of Omaha, Nebraska and formerly of Everly will be held this Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Hope Lutheran Church in Everly. Pastor Roger Hanson will officiate at the services
Kunzmann, the daughter of Ray E. and Eleanor (Randolph)(Kunzmann)
Hartmann, was born July 3, 1956 in Spencer. She moved with her family to a farm southwest of Moneta in 1961, graduating from Everly High School in 1974. She then attended Wayne State College receiving her BS in physical education, recreational and coaching in 1979.
She played with the Iowa Cornets professional basketball team for two seasons following and was traded to the Nebraska Wranglers this season.
Kunzmann was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church in Everly
She died February 7 in Omaha, Nebraska
Kunzmann was preceded in death by her father, Ray E. Kunzmann in 1969
Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Hartmann of Everly; two brothers, Craig and Rick both of Everly; two step brothers, Jim and Joel Hartmann, both of Everly; three nieces, Michelle, Penni and Sarah; one nephew, Kelly and several aunts and uncles, Pearl and Leland Thuirer, Audrey Cole of Fostoria, Ohio, Esther and Pete Anderson of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Phyllis and Cory Kunzmann of Moneta and Ruth and Nyle Kunzmann of Spencer
The Warner Funeral Home is in charge of the service arrangements
