Andrew Olin, a resident of Clay county for thirty-nine years, passed away at his home, 235 East Sixth street, Spencer, at ten o'clock Sunday evening, May 29. He was stricken with paralysis, last February an never rallied from the attack.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at 1:30 at the home and two o'clock at the Swedish Lutheran church, conducted by Rev. A. E. Gustafson,
Interment was to be in Lincoln township cemetery.
Mr. Olin is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Albert Carlson of Lincoln township; two sons, Bernard of Lincoln township and Walter of Spencer; a sister, Mrs. Christina Johnson of Spencer and a brother, N.A. Olin, of Hector, Minnesota.
Andrew Olin was born Jan. 18, 1850, in the province of Halland, Sweden.
He came to the United States in 1870 and lived for a number of years near Joliet, Illinois.
He came to Lincoln township, this county, in 1882.
There in 1887, he was married to Mrs. Albertina Alert Johnson. They resided on their farm, two miles east and a half a mile north of Royal until 1915, when they moved to Spencer, building their home on East Sixth street
