George Coleman, chief electrician of the Sanborn electric plant, was electrocuted. Death was instantaneous. The accident occurred while he was repairing switches. The current was 1,100 volts.
Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born March 12, 1890 and died Feb. 11, 1913. He is buried in Riverside Cemetery in Spencer, IA.
