Peterson, Iowa - Donald George Booth, 69, of Long Beach, Calif., and formerly of Peterson, died suddenly June 6, 1992 at his home.

Services were June 13 at Hope Chapel in Cypress, Calif. Entombment was in the Forest Lawn Mausoleum.

Mr. Booth was born April 25, 1923 at Cherokee, the son of George and Verna (Corrington) Booth. He was employed by Pacific Bell until his retirement in 1983. He was a former member of the Naval Reserve and had served in the Korean War.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. George (Helen) Daly of Moville and Mrs. William (Patricia) Jensen of Battle Creek; two brothers, Dale of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Richard of Omaha; and 17 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Clare and William; and a sister, Betty.
