Larry Joe Miller, the son of Leland and Gwendolyn (Bundy) Miller, was born at home on January 27, 1952 in Milford, IA. His childhood years were spent in Milford where he received his education, graduating from Milford High School in 1970. Larry married Pamela Johnson on July 12, 1975, at Hope Lutheran Church in Everly, IA. Following their marriage, they lived in Everly where he worked for Noteboom Construction, building prefab homes. He later worked for Mid-States Builders and then Henningson Company, followed by Henningson Construction. Larry enjoyed playing golf, especially with his brother, Tim. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Larry cherished spending time with his 'little man', Liam, who he would pick up from daycare in his truck so that he could have him all to himself. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and playing SCRABBLE Blast on the computer. While visiting family in Dallas, TX, he attended his first NFL football game at Texas Stadium and became an avid Dallas Cowboy's fan, trying to visit every fall. Family and friends helped with his key chain collection by contributing from their travels.

Larry passed away at the Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD, on Tuesday, February 9, 2010, at the age of 58.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leland Miller; and one brother, Dennis Miller.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Pamela of Everly; one son, Justin of Ankeny, IA; one daughter, Jessica and husband, Nicholas Hurst of Huxley, IA; his special grandson, Liam Hurst; his mother, Gwendolyn of Milford, IA; his brothers, Lauren Miller and Tim Miller, both of Milford, IA, and Terry Miller and wife, Angie of Brookings, SD; and sister, Shirley Caviness and husband, Tom of Milford, IA; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
