Old friends of Mrs. John Banning received word last week that she had passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. W. Broadgate, at Spencer, Iowa, April 11th, at the age of 73 years. Mrs. Banning was a good friend and neighbor herein the early days, and her friends regret to hear of her death.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Catharine and that she is buried in Riverside Cemetery in Spencer, IA and was born in 1830.
